If we want to raise human consciousness there has never been a better time. Welcome to the ultimate guide for crafting a life that’s nothing short of a masterpiece. I’m talking about creating a life you’ll love, a life filled with joy, fulfillment and purpose. And the secret ingredient is mindfulness. With mindfulness we can turn the ordinary into extraordinary, the mundane into magical. So, grab a cup of tea, put your phone on airplane mode, and let’s dive into the world of mindfulness together. Trust me, you won’t regret it!

It is an extraordinary time to be alive, and 2023 is shaping up to be a year like no other. The world is changing rapidly, and we are seeing new technologies, new ways of thinking and new possibilities emerging at an unprecedented rate. This year holds the magic and mystery of the unknown and we are no longer limited by the shackles of the past. We have the power to create a new reality for ourselves and for the world.

The year 2023 is a call for us to be more conscious and aware, to take responsibility for our own growth and development, and to use our talent and skills to make a positive impact in the world. Amid the current global chaos, a new world is emerging like a Phoenix from the ashes, a world based on “love” rather than fear. As Franklin D. Roosevelt said so eloquently, “The only thing we have to fear, is fear itself”. And to change the world we must change ourselves. The entire species depends on it!

It’s more about un-doing, un-learning and quieting down in order to tap into our own wisdom, because it’s definitely there! It’s all about tapping into your soul song and emotional truth to heal from inner criticism and doubt. You’re not only good when you’re busy. You’re good all of the time, even when you’re doing absolutely nothing. You are worthy every moment of every day because there isn’t a single thing attached to your worthiness. So how do you get closer to fully accepting this truth? By choosing inner peace. By slowing down until you come to a complete stop – Mindfulness!

It’s only when all the distractions grow silent that you’re able to hear the precious self-love that’s been whispering to you all these years. In short mindfulness is like a superpower. It allows you to see through the illusions of the mind, lift the heaviest of emotional burdens, and soar above the chaos of daily life. Think about it, with mindfulness, you can train your brain to focus like a laser, to calm your mind in the midst of a storm, and to find inner peace in the chaos of the world. It’s like having a personal shield that protects you from negative thoughts, stress, and anxiety and surrendering into the moment because living in the future is depriving your soul’s purpose. As Buddha said, “Peace comes from within. Do not seek it without.”

From the depths of confusion and disconnection, to rising like a Phoenix from the ashes

So, you must be wondering how I embarked on this journey of mindfulness which lead me to become a wellness coach. It was anything but easy, it was a wild ride. It all started when I realized that I was living an inauthentic life. I was tired of feeling disconnected, unfulfilled, and in a disempowered state. But through the hardships and struggles, I learned to turn my pain into purpose and emerged as a healer, helping others to find their inner peace. I mean, I always knew I was a healer at heart and loved being of service to others, but I never expected to end up in the land of “ohm” and “ahhh”.

I became an expert at making broken look beautiful, because I was too afraid to create disharmony, but my soul could stand to be eroded no more. When at last I surrendered, my mind and heart-shattering, awakening my heart to Joy – a piercing ecstasy. I learned to embrace my brokenness and found beauty in the darkness – I created medicine out of severe trauma and pain. A unique fragrance promising to bring more of the magic to my heart from deep-seated wounds. My wounds triggered a spiritual awakening and I fell head over heels in love with the spiritual world. It was truly a gift for me to awaken. The spiritual world is where I found my peace, my purpose, and my passion. I spent years searching for answers and trying to find my place in the world. But it wasn’t until I discovered the power of mindfulness, that I truly found my happiness.

Happiness for me is being able to exist peacefully in the present moment. It’s not the money, the stuff or things. It is absolutely the amount of Joy that I feel. I dove into the world of meditation and self-awareness practices and it was like a lightbulb went off in my head. I began to see the world in a whole new way. And, you know what they say, “when you change, the world around you changes.” I found my own voice, my own medicine, what feels like my own energetic signature in the world.

The Joy of “Me” Time: My Favourite Ways to Relax

  • A mindful bath, ahh…One of my favourite ways to unwind and relax after a long day. So, light some candles and play your favourite soothing music and let’s get this spa day started!
    As you run the bath, take a moment to notice the sensation of the warm water on your skin. Add some bubbles, Epsom salts or essential oils for an extra luxurious experience.As you sink into the bath, take a deep breath in and out, and let yourself be present in this moment. Take notice of the warmth of the water, the soft sound of the music, and the gentle flicker of the candles. It’s like a little slice of heaven. As you soak, let go of any thoughts or distractions that come up and simply be present with the sensation of the water. This is your time to unwind and let go of the day’s stress. Take a moment to appreciate the small things, like the way the candlelight dances on the water or the way the bubbles feel on your skin. It’s a reminder that life is full of simple pleasures if we just take the time to notice.
    The harmonious sounds of music is the key ingredient that takes the experience to the next level and puts you in a state of bliss. As the music begins to play, you can feel your body start to relax. The tension in your muscles melts away, and your mind begins to quiet. The combination of warm water and the soothing sounds of the music creates a cocoon of tranquillity. The music sets the tone for your bath and helps to guide you into a meditative state. It’s like a little slice of heaven, where you can escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and just be.
  • Nature walk, lovely indeed. The perfect opportunity to take a break from the chaos of life and reconnect with the present moment. As you begin your walk, take a moment to notice the sensation of your feet hitting the ground, connecting with the Earth’s energy. The crunch of leaves, the squish of mud, the feel of grass between your toes. It’s like a little nature massage for your soles whilst getting all the benefits of grounding.
    Take in the sights, the smells, and the sounds around you. The rustling of leaves in the wind, the chirping of birds, the smell of freshly cut grass. It’s like a symphony of nature, and you’re the conductor.
    As you walk, pay attention to your breath. The inhale, the exhale. Let go of any thoughts or distractions that come up and simply be present with the beauty of your surroundings. And if you happen to cross paths with any squirrels, give them a friendly nod. They’re nature’s little acrobats and they deserve some recognition. Take a moment to appreciate the small things, like the delicate petals on a flower or the intricate patterns on a butterfly’s wings. It’s like a reminder that life is full of simple beauty if we just take the time to notice. As your walk comes to an end, take a deep breath in and out, and let yourself be present in this moment.

Yes, you heard right, cooking can be a mindfulness practice that’s good for the soul and the taste buds. Who knew? Instead of rushing through mealtime, take your time and savour each step of the cooking process. The key is to make mealtime a mindful experience. Take your time, savour each bite, and connect with the food you’re eating. Not only will it improve your digestion, but it will also help you reduce stress and increase gratitude.
  • Dear diary, a new day, a new opportunity to get in touch with your inner self. Welcome to the wonderful world of mindful journaling! Mindful journaling is like taking your brain for a spa day. It helps you sort through your thoughts, feelings, and experiences with more clarity, giving you the space to process, heal and grow. Think of it as a virtual personal therapist that’s always at your service. Plus, it won’t judge you for spilling your deepest secrets (and your diary won’t tell a soul). With just a few strokes of your pen you can unleash the true potential of your mind and soul. Write about anything that pops into your mind, without any pressure to sound eloquent or poetic, just let the words flow and before you know it, you’ll have a rich tapestry of insights and revelations. So, don’t be a stranger to your journal. Happy journaling!

Allow the peacefulness of the sunset to wash over you like a giant, warm hug from mother nature.

As your mindfulness guide, I would like to encourage you to see the beauty in spending time in solitude. It’s like a cherished friendship with one’s own soul. In your aloneness you connect with the vastness of the Universe and you become the bliss. When you seeking something from others like validation and fulfilment, that’s when you feel loneliness. Your soul doesn’t care about impressing others. It seeks fulfilment over validation. The only validation you need is from yourself and Divine.
