Welcome to a journey of nourishing your body, mind and soul. I’m so excited to share with you all about the wonderful world of organic food, where taste buds and mindfulness unite. As a wellness coach and a firm believer in the power of a healthy mind and body, I know eating organic food helps me feel my best and let me tell you, choosing organic food is one of the best decisions you can make for both your body and the planet. Not only are organic foods free from synthetic pesticides and fertilizers, but they also have higher nutrient density. So join me as I share the delectable organic foods that keep me feeling vibrant, energetic and fabulous.

The connection between Our Health and the Environment

We may think we’re all living our separate lives, but we’re all intricately connected like a fine-tuned orchestra on this planet. Every living organism, from the tiniest microbe to the largest mammal, we’re all part of the same cosmic recipe and we all play a crucial role in maintaining the delicate balance of the ecosystem. The air we breathe, the water we drink, and the food we eat, all come from the natural systems that sustain us. Our actions, no matter how small, have a ripple effect on the environment and the other living beings that share it with us. When you take inventory of what you allow inside your body, you honour yourself and the planet and being intentional with what goes inside your body is an act of reverence. We are all connected through the web of life, and what we do to the planet, we do to ourselves.

Organic Foods: The Recipe for a Delicious Life and a Thriving Planet.

As a wellness coach, I am proud to embrace the organic lifestyle. I choose to consume only certified organic and unfiltered food, as I believe it is a way to show gratitude to both my body and the planet. By avoiding pesticides and chemicals, I am preserving the natural balance of my body and reducing the risk of health issues. Furthermore, organic farming practices play a vital role in maintaining clean soil, air, and water, making it essential for our survival. So, let’s raise a glass of organic juice to celebrate wellness and sustainability. Eating organic isn’t just about being health-conscious; it’s also about being environmentally conscious.

“Good Morning, Gorgeous! Organic Breakfast to Fuel your Day”

What works best for me, as well as most woman wanting to balance their hormones, heal their gut and boost their energy levels are the following:

Don’t let your breakfast be basic. Rise and shine to a delicious and nutritious meal. My Epic coconut and protein pancakes are my go-to choice. It is the epitome of indulgence and health rolled into one, fluffy, delicious and packed with protein to keep me fueled and satisfied, and the coconut flavour gives a tropical twist that just makes me happy. I’ll stack them high, topped with berries, nuts and honey and dig in. So don’t settle for bland and boring, give these pancakes a try, you won’t be disappointed. I make sure I only feast on organic berries, all absolutely bursting with superpower. Let’s face it, I don’t want to be eating on a bunch of pesticides when I could be chomping on some sweet juicy, organic perfection instead, which will blow your taste buds away!

If it’s eggs you like for breakfast, you’re in luck! Eggs are like the chameleons of the breakfast world, they can be cooked in so many ways and organic eggs not only taste better, but they also come from chickens that were raised in a more natural environment. Plus you can feel good about supporting farmers who prioritize the health and well-being of their animals. And let’s be real, there’s nothing quite like cracking open an organic egg and seeing that bright orange yolk, it’s like a ray of sunshine on your plate.

“Organic Carbs: Because You Deserve Better than Processed and Bleached”

I believe in eating my carbs with a side of purity, which is why I only roll with the organic kind because it’s free from all those yucky chemicals and preservatives and also grown with fewer pesticides, which is always a plus in my book. And let’s talk taste, organic pasta just has that certain “je ne sais quoi” that regular pasta can’t touch. Plus, I feel like I’m doing my body a favour by nourishing it with pure and unprocessed ingredients. I’m a big fan of Italian brands, tossed in homemade pesto sauce and pine nuts. Or a bowl of steaming basmati rice with a sprinkle of saffron and a drizzle of ghee(butter) and I’m in carb heaven. So if you want to elevate your carb game try organic, your taste buds will sing.

“Grass-Fed, Gourmet!”

I only settle for the best quality when it comes to my meats, that’s why I only eat grass-fed beef. It’s like the superfood of meats. Not only does it have fewer calories and less fat, it contains higher levels of omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, beta-carotene and conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) that do wonders for the body, such as reducing the risk of heart disease, cancer and obesity. And let’s not forget that grass-fed beef comes from cows that are raised in a more natural and sustainable way, so not only are you taking care of your body but also the environment and the animals. So, if you want to add some sizzle to your diet, give grass-fed beef a try instead of settling for a subpar grain-fed option.

Organic chickens? I only settle for the finest feathered friends in my diet. Healthy is hot, and so is organic chicken. Farm-raised without hormones or antibiotics and a richer, more nutritious taste that’s finger-lickin’ good for both my body and soul. In addition, organic chickens are raised in a more humane way, without the use of restrictive cages, which is always a good thing.

Snacks: “Going Nuts for Organic”

Going nuts for organic?  You bet! When it comes to my snacking game, I only play with the best of the best. Organic nuts are the top choice for me, because they are free from harmful pesticides and chemicals, and packed with all the nutrients and flavour that nature intended. Nuts to that! Cashews and pistachios please!

“Salads, sooo Good, you’ll forget all about that Greasy Fast Foods”

Salads, they’re not just for rabbits and birds, they’re for boss babes like us too. I keep my snacks fresh and fierce with a big bowl of greens and veggies, organic of course. Salads are a perfect way to keep my body fueled and my taste buds satisfied, with all the vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that nature intended. I absolutely adore Ottolenghi’s salads! These salads are not your average bowl of greens, oh no. They’re a flavour of explosion, a textural wonderland, a symphony of fresh ingredients. Ottolenghi’s salads are always loaded with a variety of interesting flavours and textures. Whether it’s the crunch of a crisp apple, the creaminess of a ripe avocado, or the tanginess of a citrus dressing, there’s always something new and exciting to discover. From the moment you see the vibrant array of fruits and veggies, you know you’re in for a treat. Each bite is a dance for your mouth, sure to please the most discerning of palates. So don’t be afraid to think outside the lunch box, and give salads a try, you’ll be surprised how satisfying and satisfying they can be!

“Sip on the Good Stuff”

As a wellness coach, I am a firm believer that a good cup of hot beverage can do wonders for the mind and body. And when it comes to hot beverages, I have a love affair with both organic coffee and mint tea. I believe that life is too short for bad coffee, which is why I only sip on the finest – because who wants to drink pesticides with their latte. Organic coffee is a real powerhouse when it comes to benefits for the body. A few reasons why I’m a big fan of the organic brew is that it’s associated with lowering the risk of type 2 diabetes, liver disease and certain types of cancer. It also helps you feel full for longer periods of time, which can prevent overeating and assist with weight loss.

But when it comes to winding down, there’s nothing quite like a steaming cup of organic mint tea with a drizzle of honey – I only sweeten my life with the nectar of the organic gods, which means organic honey all the way! Why settle for artificial sweeteners when you can have the real deal in all its organic glory? The mint leaves are packed with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds, and it can help soothe the mind and promote relaxation. Plus, the combination of the warmth of the tea and the aroma of the mint creates a spa-like experience, in the comfort of your own home. So, whether you’re a coffee lover or a tea fanatic, I highly recommend giving organic options a try. Your taste buds and your body will thank you!”

“Get a Slice of Heaven: A Delicious Dive into the World of Cake”

They say you can’t have your cake and eat it too, but let me tell you, I’m living proof you can! I don’t do cheat days, I only do treat days. And on those days, I indulge in a slice of guilt-free heavenly cake because balance is key to a healthy lifestyle. I’ll have my cake and eat it too, no apologies needed. I’m all about finding delicious and healthy alternatives to traditional ingredients. Butter and wheat flour had their time in the spotlight. Coconut flour is the new deal in the baking game and a total game changer. Not only does it give cakes a tropical twist, but it’s also gluten-free and low in carbs. So go ahead and have that second slice without feeling guilty.

“Milk your Almonds: The Hottest Trend in Wellness”

When it comes to my milk of choice, I like to keep things nutty. And by nutty, I mean organic almond milk. Because why settle for anything less when it comes to what we put in our bodies? It’s a simple choice that can have a big impact on our health and environment. Organic almond milk is free from pesticides and added hormones which can be harmful to our health. It’s also a good source of vitamins and minerals such as Vitamin E, magnesium and potassium. Additionally, it’s lower in calories and fat than regular milk, and it’s also a great option for those who are lactose intolerant or vegan. Another important aspect is that organic farming is better for the environment as it uses sustainable farming practices and helps to preserve biodiversity.

So, choosing organic almond milk not only makes sense for our health, but also for the environment, it’s a win-win situation.

These foods supercharge my frequency, giving me more energy physically and higher energy vibrationally. Simple, unprocessed and close to nature, and cooked with love. It makes me feel alive and connected to the entire Universe. You will glow as your entire body gets a healthy boost, plus your immune system will thank you for all those nutrient-rich and naturally healing foods.

Did you know that food has vibes too? Start to pay attention to how the food you eat, makes you feel. If you eat a lot of “dead” energy you are lowering your vibration. This includes fried food or processed food. Organic food is highly vibrational and nutritious and the closer a food is to its natural state, the higher its vibration. Yes, the right foods can raise your vibrations, soothe your soul and boost your spirits, which makes it easier to manifest your goals and dreams. Additionally, eighty to ninety percent of your serotonin is produced in the gut? Guess what that means?

Your gut health is your mental health. Better mental health raises your vibration – This attracts abundance! Everything in the universe is made of energy. Different energies vibrate at different frequencies. That also includes you. Your thoughts, feelings, and actions are transmitting a particular vibration out to the universe, and those vibrations shape your life. As a result, the food we eat has a huge impact on our vibration and immune systems. It affects us on a mental, physical, and vibrational level.

Conclusion

In conclusion, choosing organic food is a powerful decision for your body, mind and soul; and all the benefits organic brings to the environment – this includes reduced greenhouse gas emissions, greater biodiversity, voting for higher animal welfare standards and soil healthy enough to feed the world for generations to come; to name a few. While soil might look humble, it’s incredibly important. Healthy soil is crucial in over 90% of food production. It’s a small step that can make a big difference in the long run. Thanks for reading. Happy eating!
